On a beautiful blue day, a flag waves in slow motion, a graceful rectangle of bold primary colours shot through with sunlight. The flag seems to flow, the fabric quietly vibrant, like water. The flag drifts on the edge of consciousness. Some high current of air sends a delicate ripple through the flag, and it makes a softly resonant rhytmic sound that recalls the sound of a sail on a boat at sea, or of clean laundry flapping in a light wind.
